OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check to make sure a 9 volt alkaline battery is in unit.
- Turn knob clockwise to turn on unit. Continue to turn knob until tone and red LED turns off.
- Extend antenna. If alarm sounds, repeat step 2.
- You are now ready to start your sweep. If your LPD 2 starts to sound off alarm as you perform your sweep, make a note of the area (Hot Spot) and continue to systematically cover the area in question.
- Perform sweep again in te same manner, readjusting sensitivity knob.
- By now you will have to be very close to Hot Spots noted before your LPD 2 alarm goes off. If tone and LED light do sound, a visual search should now be conducted.
